This essential security measure is designed to bolster the security of our students' accounts and safeguard sensitive information. To ensure compliance, students are required to sign up for MFA within a designated timeframe based on their major. Due to the migration to a new database, myNKU will be completely unavailable from Friday, May 24 at 3:00pm through Memorial Day weekend, until Tuesday, May 28 at 6:00am. For the remainder of the week, through Friday, May 31, normal operations will resume on a rolling basis as services are restored. Please visit the HANA webpage for updated information regarding which features are available.
There will be no access to myNKU throughout the migration weekend, including, but not limited to:
Canvas, Email, MS Teams, Zoom, OneDrive, and J: and K: drives will continue to operate while myNKU is down.

The Business Warehouse (BW) system that provides SAP reporting capabilities suffered a technical failure overnight. We are working to resolve the issue, but we do not have an estimated time for resolution.
The Business Warehouse (BW) reporting system remains unavailable Tuesday 12/19/23. The root cause of the issue has been identified, and IT is actively working to bring the system back into service. Currently, there is no ETA for return to operation, but we will continue to update you as progress is made.
The Business Warehouse (BW) reporting system remains unavailable on Wednesday, 12/20/23.
Overnight, progress was made towards getting the system back online, but due to the complexity of the system and unforeseen complications, recovery work must continue through today. There is no clear ETA for recovery at this point.
Restoring BW reporting operations is our top priority, and we understand the impact this outage has to the campus. IT is actively working around the clock to bring the system back into service ASAP, but there is no clear ETA for recovery at this point in time.
We will continue to update you as progress is made, or when the system returns to operation.
The Business Warehouse (BW) reporting system has been fully restored and tested by IT as of 8:00pm on Wednesday, 12/20. The system is now available for your use.
Please note that some data currently in the system may run later than expected, as the data loads run to catch up on queued transactions. Please ensure you look at report dates to verify your data.
