Headshot Collin Jarrell

NKU Highlighted Intern is Collin Jarrell!

Collin Jarrell, a Business Administration student, participated in FLIP - Future Leaders Internship Program. FLIP interns are placed with a Norther Kentucky Senator as they serve in the General Assembly each spring semester.

"I have had an incredible experience interning with the Kentucky State Senate, specifically Senator Shelley Funke Frommeyer. It has been an honor to assist with drafting legislation, bill tracking, constituent communication, and attending committee meetings. Not only have I been able to be exposed to work at the Capitol, but at networking and fundraising events around the state as well. I’ve met the Governor and other constitutional officers, the President of KCTCS, and other policymakers and elected officials. I would encourage anyone interested in public service to participate in this program."
