ISRCA Student Research/Creativity Mentor Award
The ISRCA Student Research/Creativity Mentor Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated excellence in mentoring and supporting students in research and/or creativity. Strong nominations will demonstrate excellence in mentoring by
supporting and influencing students’ educational and career paths. Examples may include peer-reviewed publications involving students; student presentations, awards, or scholarships; and evidence of continued success of mentored students.
Nomination Instructions
1. Nomination by a student or alumni providing evidence of the nominee’s accomplishment in, and ongoing support for, excellence in mentoring student researchers. Student will complete this Qualtrics form to nominate their faculty mentor.
2. After nomination, nominees will be asked by ISRCA to provide:
A one page summary of their record regarding the mentoring of student research/creative activities, as well as the scope, longevity and impact of their efforts on the educational experience of students and a one page mini-vita.
Nominations are due March 18th. Winners will be selected by a committee of students and faculty. The prizes will be awarded during the Spring Celebration of Student Research and Creativity.
