The University Inclusive Excellence Peer Educator Program seeks to identify undergraduate students at Northern Kentucky University to aid in the advancement of the mission of the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Title IX by fostering a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming campus for the entire Norse community. Peer Educators will engage both current and prospective students by providing training and educational opportunities, programming, and peer support all designed to increase cultural awareness and promote a greater sense of belonging.
The Certificate in Social Justice Education is designed for undergraduate students seeking a general knowledge of critical social justice and its implications for living in a diverse society. This non-credit bearing certificate program will introduce participants to key concepts, terms, theories, and practices of social justice education. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion and be prepared to participate in deeper study of the socialization of knowledge and be able to apply the ideas of critical social justice to their individual course of study.
