The George Melber Music Collection originally consisted of hundreds of pieces of music, full orchestral scores with parts. The scores are cataloged and housed separately. This finding aid covers the non-music memorabilia.
Contained herein are mainly Cincinnati Grand Orchestra Reed Band concert programs. Michael Brand is listed as conductor for these programs. Miscellaneous notes with notes taken on them in pencil also make up the collection. The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music is also a small part of the collection.
