Rex Brooking (’99, ’04) is a shining example of what Northern Kentucky University graduates are doing to support their community.
Brooking owns two Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Dayton, Ohio, area and has provided food for those on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We had the opportunity to deliver more than 500 meals to health care workers in our area and we are continuing to provide for others in need during this time," he says.
Whether it is hospital workers or researchers at the University of Dayton researching a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus, Brooking and his Chick-fil-A team have shown what it takes to be a great community member in this time of need.
“As always, we are committed to serving our community any way we can, but it’s times like these when Chick-fil-A can stand in the gap and offer a little peace, a little respite to those who are on the front lines," he says.
