What is your favorite thing about NKU?
My favorite thing about NKU is that it has a sense of community and family that is completely unmatched from that of other universities. There are so many incredible opportunities on campus, and everyone here is so excited to watch you connect and grow with them. The faculty and staff at NKU are so beyond invested in the success and well-being of their students, and it's a clear reflection in everything that the school puts out! I haven't even graduated yet, and I'm already so excited to cheer on the Norse as an alum!
Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
My favorite spot on campus is definitely the third floor of the Student Union, because it's where all the action happens. It hosts all of the offices dedicated to Student Engagement, Inclusivity, Leadership, etc., and there's always something exciting being planned (and usually free food).
What is the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU
Family.
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
My favorite way to spend my free time is spending time with family, going canoeing, doing karaoke or gorging myself on sushi at Cloud 9!
What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion is being there to encourage others along their journey and helping individuals find their own passions and run with it. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone go from Point A to Point B after connecting with or being empowered by someone/something. I've loved spending my time at NKU being able to connect students to different resources/opportunities, and I want to continue that as I begin my professional journey into the field of higher education and student affairs.
Tell us anything else about yourself and/or NKU that you want folks to know.
I'm a member of the Norse Leadership Society, the Panhellenic community, a proud sister of Kappa Delta Sorority and am currently loving my internship in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life here on campus! I am graduating in May with dual degrees in communication studies and public relations!
