“Lori has been a champion for students her entire tenure at NKU. She is a phenomenal collaborator and always puts students at the forefront of her work and challenges and encourages her colleagues to do the same. Dr. Wright has been involved in equity and inclusion work in many capacities across campus and has led many efforts to support marginalized students. Lori will graduate with her EdD in Educational Leadership in May, having successfully defended a co-authored dissertation on feminist leadership. Lori is a fearless advocate for equity inclusion in the NKU community. She speaks truth to power in a variety of settings and is never afraid to ensure that we consider who is being left out of our discussions. Her office is a safe haven for many in our community and anyone leaving a conversation with her feels empowered and energized."
