Tracy Neltner graduated from NKU in 1990 with her Nursing degree after growing up in the Northern Kentucky area.
"NKU was my only option for college. I always wanted to be a nurse ever since the 3rd grade and NKU had a nursing program."
Since attending NKU, Tracy has worked in different areas of Oncology as a nurse navigator for the Neuro Oncologist and has also taught new employees. However, Tracy says that her favorite part of her job is the emotional support she provides to her patients.
Tracy has immense pride in her alma mater.
"I’m so proud of NKU and the resource of education it has become within our area. We have people from other states that are proud, adapting, and supporting NKU. NKU is doing a great job preparing graduates for my profession. I hear it daily from alumni who have kids currently enrolled at NKU. NKU is heading in the right direction."
