Founded in 1985, Presidential Ambassadors are proud to be part of the decades-long tradition of representing Northern Kentucky University.

PAs are volunteers who have experienced firsthand the incredible impact of being part of the NKU community and are invested in giving back to the university, as well as helping others see all that NKU has to offer.

As a highly selective and elite organization, membership is offered to those students who are passionate about promoting NKU, committed to being a positive representative of our community, and willing to dedicate time to serve.

Alumni often boast that the experience of being a PA allowed them to develop the personal and professional skills that helped them succeed during and after graduation. Through leadership retreats, hands-on experiences, and networking, PAs have unique opportunities to grow, learn, and serve every day.

• Promote Northern Kentucky University (NKU) by sharing our personal college experiences with prospective students and their parents as we familiarize them with campus.
• Achieve well-rounded academic excellence through dedication and involvement in university life.
• Enhance the experience of all participants of university functions by offering our services whenever they are needed.
• Welcome esteemed guests of the President and the Board of Regents and to represent to them a positive image of the student body and NKU.
• Attain leadership skills necessary in today's fast-paced, competitive world.

PAs represent NKU in numerous capacities throughout the academic year, including volunteering for:

• Presidential events
• Commencement
• Alumni and donor events
• Student recruitment events
• Tours for prospective students and important guests
• Campus events as requested by university departments

Training is provided to support PA growth, expand their knowledge of the university, and increase their confidence in serving the university in such important and meaningful ways.
