President for a Day

Thanks to the historic partnership with the Office of the President, the Presidential Ambassadors are honored to host the annual President for a Day contest.

This experience is open to current Northern Kentucky University students in good standing with the university. Students can opt into participate in the contest, and the selection process involves multiple steps each year in order to narrow the pool down to the final candidate.

Our lucky President for a Day will have the unique opportunity to see what life is like as NKU's President up close, while also having the chance to show President Cady Short-Thompson a day in their shoes.

The annual President for a Day contest occurs each fall semester, with the exchange occurring during the spring semester. Stay tuned for key dates and details for the 2025 President for a Day event!

Faculty and Staff Bingo

Through their collaborations with faculty and staff across campus, the Presidential Ambassadors recognize how hard these members of our community work to continue to make NKU the special place that it is each day. With that in mind, one of the most beloved events by both Presidential Ambassadors and faculty/staff alike is the annual Faculty and Staff Bingo.

This event is hosted each spring semester with an open invitation to all faculty, staff, and their families. PAs work hard to create a fun environment with many exciting prizes so faculty and staff can have an enjoyable evening socializing.

In order to support ongoing leadership and professional development experiences of members, Presidential Ambassadors have a suggested donation to play - but all are welcome to join in even if they are unable to donate.

Details for the 2025 event will be finalized and posted soon!
