What is Top Hat?

Top Hat is a platform for polling students during class, hosting online activities and reading, and more. TopHat leverages students' internect-connected devices as teaching tools. With Top Hat instructors can:

Sync lecture slides with student's devices so they can follow along in real-time.
Share student responses and correct answers to questions posed in class.
Import free interactive questions from the Top Hat Marketplace.

Where do you go to use it?

Top Hat is a separate platform from Canvas. You and your students sign in at the Top Hat website to use its features. Top Hat can export grades to our LMS, Canvas.
