Continuing Student

Please read the following information before starting your Scholarship Application.

New! At least one letter of recommendation must be submitted as part of the scholarship application. Please obtain your letter(s) of recommendation.  Scholarship recommenders can submit forms to scholarships@nku.edu.

In lieu of a letter, you may have your recommender complete the Scholarship Recommendation Form.  Please upload your signed recommendation letter or recommendation form with your application.

Application Deadline: February 16, 2024

2. You will be asked to type an essay of approximately 250 words in response to this topic: People have various definitions of success (career, wealth, civic engagement). How do you define success? When you look back on your life in thirty years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful?

There are other optional essays on the application.  Please review the essay tab and prepare any additional essays before starting the application.  You will not be able to save your application and return to it.

3. You must submit at least one letter of recommendation.  Acceptable file formats are Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat PDF.  In lieu of a letter, you can obtain recommendations using the Scholarship Recommendation Form.  Letters and forms can be submitted to scholarships@nku.edu. 

• If you are applying for the William H. Greaves Scholarship or the CINSAM Scholarship, two letters of recommendation, one from a science professor and one from a math professor, must accompany this application.

• If you are applying for the Dean's Scholarship, one letter of recommendation from a professor in your major must accompany this application.

Once you have the required information, you may begin your 2024 Continuing Scholarship Application.
