Flexible Spending Accounts

• Healthcare Flexible Spending Account - used to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses
• Daycare Flexible Spending Account - used to pay for eligible dependent (child or adult) daycare expenses
• Limited Healthcare Flexible Spending Account - used to pay for eligible dental and vision expenses (must be enrolled in a HDHP plan)

If you enroll in a healthcare FSA you will receive a Benny card loaded with your annual commitment on January 1st of the plan year or when eligible as a new hire.  This card is not issued for other FSAs.

• Each type of account is a seperate election made during each Annual Enrollment or as a new hire.
• Money in one account cannot be transferred to another account.
• Contributions cannot be changed during the year unless there is a qualifying reason.
• Account balances do not rollover; if you do not use the money during the plan year, you lose it. Claims from the prior plan year can be submitted up to March 31st of the following year.
