The Office of Inclusive Excellence coordinates Northern Kentucky University's Bias Incident Response Protocol (BIRT) Team, which is responsible for maintaining a university climate free of discrimination and promoting a learning and living environment for students that is safe, inclusive, welcoming and respectful. NKU's Bias Incident Response Protocol provides a process to address bias incidents that affect its students, faculty and staff.
