Type (New, Revision, etc.): New policy. If approved, this policy will replace the existing Contract Procedures for Non-Employment Contracts policy.
Description: The proposed new Contract Signature Authority policy establishes the positions with authority to sign many kinds of contracts on behalf of the university. This policy supplements existing Board of Regents policies and will add an important new financial control to ensure good stewardship of university funds while creating new efficiencies in the contracting process.
Applicability: All NKU employees and all legally binding written contracts.
Comment Period: September 5, 2025 - October 20, 2025.
