Type (New, Revision, etc.): New policy. Replaces existing Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination policy and Harassment Avoidance policy.
Description: The proposed new Nondiscrimination in Education and Employment policy reiterates the university’s commitment to nondiscrimination and harassment, more clearly establishes the process for discrimination and harassment investigations and resolutions, and adds new language regarding shared ancestry that is required by a recently enacted state law.
Applicability: All university employees, students, visitors, and others attempting to access the university’s employment, educational, and other programs, and activities, and all relevant university operations and processes.
