We provide motivated eligible* students with resources and services to help you stay in school, do well in class, and graduate:
TRIO SSS students can take advantage of free programs and services available only to program participants, such as super priority registration, academic advising, career/major guidance, financial aid troubleshooting, free laptop rental, and special TRIO SSS sections of UNV 101: Orientation to College & Beyond.
*You may be eligible to be a TRIO SSS participant if you are a first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has earned a bachelor’s degree), come from a limited income family, or have a documented disability. Priority acceptance to the program goes to students who are both first-generation AND limited income.
The best way to learn about the program is directly from our students. Check out this video and they’ll tell you everything they love about SSS: from being a first-generation student and the benefits of TRIO SSS to their fondness for our staff and why you should join today!
