During the 2020-2022 academic year, our BFSA retention committee began work on an important initiative to provide internal support for our Black faculty and staff on campus through the addition of a newly crafted mentorship program. 

After blending best practices from other institutions, combined with historical NKU programs, the committee is currently on track a towards a Fall 2022 launch of the program.  This BFSA Mentorship Program is intended to support Black Faculty and Staff who are interested in either receiving mentorship or serving in a mentorship role at Northern Kentucky University.  A key outcome and goal of this program is to assist Black faculty and staff with achievement towards their professional goals and ongoing development.
