One way we help alumni connect to employers is through our online job posting system, Handshake. Handshake replaced HireNKU in May 2021.
- Alumni who graduated August 2020 and after:
- Go to the Handshake login page, click the blue button, and use your NKU login credentials to log in.
- Can't remember your NKU login credentials? Click the link below the blue button to log in with your nku.edu email address.
- Need to reset your NKU password? Contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
- Alumni who graduated before August 2020:
- Go to the Handshake login page, click the link below the blue button to create an account with your nku.edu email address.
- Need to reset your NKU password? Contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
- Alumni who do not have an nku.edu email address:
- Email your name, NKU major, graduation date, etc. to careerservices@nku.edu and we'll create a Handshake account for you.
After gaining access, you can access the full Handshake network of career opportunities, employers, fellow alumni plus learn about career fairs and other career-related events at NKU.
Hiring NKU Students
Another way alumni can connect with our students is by recruiting and hiring them to work for your organization. If you are interested in hiring NKU students, you can use Handshake to post positions, sign up for on-campus interviews, register for career fairs, and more!
