The Career Development course CEP 101 is a two-credit, 7-week elective class designed to provide knowledge and skill in personal career planning, particularly for those who are undecided about their college major and/or future career plans.

The course places an emphasis on identifying interests and skills, clarifying values, exploring career/major options, and developing effective decision-making processes. The class is especially helpful for second and third semester freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students.

The classes are small to foster interaction and discussion about careers and majors, the importance of co-ops and internships, employment trends, and employer expectations in the workplace.
