Dear graduate,

Commencement is almost here! Here's what you need to know to celebrate your accomplishments. 

Guests and seating:

  • No tickets required; seating is first-come, first-served.
  • Doors open 90 minutes before the ceremony. Everyone is subject to a bag check.
  • Wrapped gifts, balloons, signs, noisemakers, outside food and beverages, personal drink containers and large umbrellas are not permitted in Truist Arena.

Parking and accessibility:

  • All campus lots and garages are free on May 9.
  • Drop-off is available at the circle drive of Truist Arena off Nunn Drive. Accessible parking is in Lot O and the Truist Arena Garage.

Regalia deadlines:

  • March 9: Last day to order custom-tailored doctoral regalia.
  • April 7: Last day to place an online order for regalia. 
  • May 9: Undergraduate and master's regalia will be available at the NKU Bookstore.

Additional information:
