EngageKY Lunch and Learn This month's Lunch and Learn welcomes Karen Mann, College & Career Readiness Coach at We Lead, and Rodney Tucker, the Assistant Director of Dual Credit Operations at Eastern Kentucky University. Powered by a $3 million investment from the Kentucky General Assembly, We Lead CS is a first-of-its-kind, virtual computer science career academy. We Lead prepares Kentucky high school students for high-wage careers in our technology-driven economy - many they can do virtually in their home communities. We Lead enables districts to provide courses, student support services, and work based learning opportunities at a lower cost and without requirements for minimum or maximum enrollment. Rodney Tucker works closely with high schools to build strong partnerships and ensure students succeed. Mercer County High School Counselor Stacy Davis said the Dual Credit program at her school has grown significantly in recent years, thanks in large part to EKU’s personalized support. |
