New Courses

 ANT 275 Language and Culture (Culture and Creativity)

Methods and case studies in anthropological linguistics; relationship between language and culture; language structure.

 

LAW 101 Introduction to Law (Individual and Society)

An overview of the structure of the American legal system, the function of laws, and how both affect the everyday citizen. Concepts include the role law plays in social, business, political and economic institutions.

 

LAW 291W Writing in Legal Contexts (Written Communication)

Introduction to professional writing skills across diverse legal contexts. Topics include language choice, persuasive techniques, grammar, and effective sentence structure. Students will learn to craft clear, compelling documents and become familiar with basic legal forms.
