2025 Benefits Annual Enrollment

An important tip for those employees electing the HDHP with HSA.

To be enrolled in the Health Savings Account (HSA), our system requires a two-step process after entering the Open Enrollment module:

Login to the myNKU portall by following the steps in the "To Get Started" section listed below.

1. Select the HDHP with HSA;
   
2. Confirm selection, click next and then click complete enrollment;
   
3. Then go back into the Open Enrollment module where you will see the HSA option (#3a.) [Note: you will not see the HSA option until you do the first step of enrolling in the HDHP with HSA option.]
   
4. If you do not want to contribute your own funds to the HSA (you only want the contribution from NKU) enter 0 in the HSA field.
5. If you do want to contribute your own funds to the HSA, enter the annual amount up to the maximum allowed. (See page 6 of 2025 Annual Enrollment Bulletin)
   
6. Select confirm, then next and then click complete your enrollment again.
7. After you have completed enrollments, to see your elections, select one of two options: 1) Have the confirmation emailed to you or 2) Vew the confirmation and print.
