Entering mid-term and final grades and reporting attendance for students is completed within myNKU. Monitoring the reporting of grades for students within a department or college is also an available function within myNKU for chairs and deans.

Security: Access should be granted upon completion of onboarding.

Training: All new faculty members are enrolled in a Faculty Services organization in Blackboard. Review the included materials as well as the reference materials below.

Reporting Attendance

All faculty are required to report students for attendance/non-attendance. For university policies regarding attendance/non-attendance, see NKU's online catalog.

Entering Grades

Entering Mid-term Grades:
Faculty are responsible for reporting mid-term grades for all courses below the 500 level. Mid-term grading is directed and managed by First-Year Programs, and contact information and deadlines can be found on their site.

Advisors, Chains, and Deans have access to view the mid-term grades that have been submitted within their respective departments.

 

Entering Final Grades:

Viewing Reported Grades
Faculty may review the grades they have submitted for the students within their courses by accessing Grade and Attendance Reporting through Faculty Services on the Student Administration tab within myNKU.

Grade Change Request
Submit grade changes for specific students or courses after the grading window for a particular term has closed.
