Electronic Recycling
NKU Surplus processes electronic scrap for all NKU departments. The E-Scrap is processed by commodity. Most scrap will be striped down and sent to a certified recycler. Please process a labor crew work order request to have the equipment transfered to surplus. Any items containing senstive data will need to go through Dave Renaker for processing. Any items listed on inventory will need to be processed via a surplus transfer form.
Metal Recycling
NKU Surplus will scrap items that have no useable life to other departments, no re-sale value, or declared worthless by the surplus agent. All departments should query a service request through labor crew to have their metal scrap picked-up. All proceeds will be sent back into the NKU general fund.
Toner Recycling
NKU Recycling will recycle your old and empty toner cartridges. Please submit an online service request through O&M to complete the pick-up:
