The electrochromic glazing at the skylight will change color based on the amount of solar energy passing through the glazing. In the hot summer months, the glass will darken to block the light and reduce the mechanical cooling required within the atrium. In cooler months, more sunlight is allowed into the space to provide increased natural light and heat to the space.
