LEED AT NKU

Currently, NKU is home to four LEED certified buildings: Griffin Hall, Health Innovation Center, Founders Hall and the Albright Health Center, which houses the Campus Recreation Center. In an effort to grow and use existing resources sustainably, each future building on campus will be LEED certified upon completion.
NKU new Residence Hall
NKU's newest Residence Hall opened in August 2021 and was awarded LEED Certified. The residence hall contains features such as: indoor trash and recycling bins; electric vehicle charging stations; geothermal; smart meters; lighting controls for daylight; bioswale; smart irrigation; and more.
