EngageKY has received a three-year AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF) grant to support volunteerism on Kentucky secondary and postsecondary campuses.
The $1M EngageKY+ grant aims to increase the capacity of Kentucky secondary and postsecondary institutions and their community partners to use effective volunteer management practices, providing funding to EngageKY member institutions to do this work.
The grant will also support the creation of a statewide platform to collect volunteer data, develop an effective volunteer practices resource for our campus partners, increase the quantity and quality of volunteering in Kentucky secondary and postsecondary institutions, and strengthen and/or increase high-impact tutoring, mentoring, and other school-based or out-of-school time programs.
