4 screenings available:
Cardiac Age Health Risk Assessment
Based on the Framingham Heart Study, this assessment calculates a 10 year heart risk percentage based on biological age, body mass index, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and smoking. This screening requires a 4 hour fast and involves a finger stick glucose and lipid panel.
Lower Extremity Arterial Screening for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
PAD currently affects 8-12 million Americans. It is estimated that 1 in every 20 Americans over the age of 50 has PAD. This test screens for PAD by checking the Ankle-Brachial Indices (ABI's). It is a painless test that uses blood pressure cuffs and sound waves to evaluate the blood flow in your arms compared to the blood flow in your legs. This test identifies blockage and if additional follow-up care is needed.
Carotid Arterial Screening
Stroke is currently the third leading cause of death in the United States. One of the major causes of stroke is the buildup of plaque in the carotid arteries, which carry blood flow to the brain. This screening evaluates the carotid arteries using ultrasound (a painless procedure) to assess the amount of plaque present to determine if further work-up may be necessary.
Abdominal Aortic Screening: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
AAA's are caused by a weakening of one of the major arteries in the stomach. If left untreated, they have the potential to grow and/or rupture, possibly causing death. It is estimated that there are approximately 1 million individuals currently in the US with undiagnosed AAA's. This painless screening evaluates your abdominal aorta and determines if additional follow-up is needed.

Recent new guidelines recommend women should get a mammogram starting at age 40. If you are at higher risk for breast cancer, talk to a health care provider about when you need to start getting mammograms and whether you need to get other tests along with your mammograms. If you are not sure if you are high risk, speak with a health care provider to find out. It's also important to know how your breasts normally look and feel and to report any changes to a health care provider right away.
