More about D'ominique
Master of Arts in Counseling, Cincinnati Christian University
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Fisk University
Hi, I’m D’ominique, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and Kentucky. First, let me say thank you, thank you for considering me to walk this journey with you. I know that therapy isn’t easy and healing isn’t linear, so I consider it an honor. I want you to know how brave you are, for taking the first step to finding a therapist. I believe my approach is warm, affirming, and deeply
client-centered, grounded in the belief that true healing begins when people
feel heard, valued, safe, and authentically themselves. I see therapy as a
collaborative journey and consider it an honor to help clients reconnect with
their strength, reclaim their peace, and move toward a fuller, more joyful
quality of life.
I believe that it’s so important to ensure proper representation, diversity, and inclusion as it relates to mental health. Everyone should have access to mental health services and support. I enjoy working with individuals to; decrease the stigma surrounding their mental health journey, regulate their feelings and emotions, feel good in their bodies and environments, navigate and establish healthy relationships/intimacy, increase body image/self-esteem as well as helping
individuals manage anxiety and depression.
The Dom inside the office and outside of the office are practically the same. I’m a firm believer that life is what you make it, and pink is the ultimate color on the color wheel! I'm constantly curating a life that is worth living. A life filled with
a multitude of colors, animal prints, fun accessories, bedazzled shoes, love,
joy, peace, laughter and fun. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends,
traveling, trying new restaurants, exploring coffee shops, and making new
memories with my loved ones. There’s no day but today, so make it count,
measure it in love and know that your life is what you make of it.
I know this journey isn’t easy, however I’m so thankful that you’re taking the first steps to taking back your power. I hope that you’ll allow me to walk this journey of empowerment, rediscovering your peace, joy, happiness and increased quality of life with you.
