Student Rights

NKU students have rights as well as responsibilities. The Dean of Students' offices provide and uphold student rights in accordance with Kentucky laws and relevant NKU policy.

  • Academic Integrity

    Student rights in academic courses are largely created by the syllabi for individual courses, handbooks for specific college programs, and through the academic catalog. In alignment with Kentucky law, the Dean of Students offices are only able to advise and support students in situations involving possible violations of NKU Community Standards and Student Rights.
