Subject: New Restaurant Openings Fall 2021/ Commuter $50 Dining Plan Begins
We are looking forward to having everyone back to our vibrant campus with several new restaurants kicking off the fall semester, including Qdoba Mexican Eats! Chartwells is introducing new internal brands Create Chop’d and Wrap’d and Smoked BBQ as well as unveiling menu upgrades at Smash’d Baked Potato Bar. All your favorite restaurants will still be available including Ace Sushi, Steak ‘n Shake, Sbarro Pizza, Einstein Bros Bagels, Norse Street Subs and the Student Choice Restaurant – featuring Absurd Bird Tenders, Melt Lab Grilled Cheese and The Travel Wagon. Starting in the fall, several food and beverage operations will have expanded hours to accommodate students who are on campus later in the day. This will coincide with the Commuter Meal Plan for students that features $50 Dining Flex dollars for each semester.
We designed this $50 dining plan to have many built-in advantages for students.
Please keep in mind the $50 in Dining Flex will be a mandatory program for all full-time NKU commuter students and is designed to supplement on-campus dining needs. Students will be able to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages at all on-campus dining locations.
$50 in Dining Flex will automatically be loaded onto each student’s ALL CARD (your NKU ID) on the first day of classes during fall and spring semester. The funds will not be available during university breaks or during the summer semester.
