ALL CARD - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All current students, faculty and staff are eligible to receive an NKU ALL CARD. Your ALL CARD is your official NKU identification card, imprinted with your photograph and an assigned ID number. The ALL CARD allows you to be recognized as member of the University community. It also enables you to enjoy discounts and gain access to services and activities.

Stop by the ALL CARD office in the Student Union, room 120. Please bring a current driver's license, state-issued photo ID, or passport with you. You will be asked for your NKU username or Student ID number to look up your record. It takes just a few minutes for us to take your photo and print your ALL CARD.

No need to replace it, but if you are a current student or employee and you bring in your ALL CARD that is over four years old, we will replace it for free. Otherwise, replacement cards are $10.

If a student is taking evening classes and is unable to visit our office during our normal business hours, they may email the ALL CARD office to make special accomodations. This is made strictly for evening students.

If you have not been issued an NKU ALL CARD previously and would like to receive one, contact the ALL CARD office by email no sooner than two weeks prior to the start of the semester to request one. Include your full name and the last four digits of your social security number. This is an accommodation for fully online students only. If you will be taking any classes on our local campuses, you will need to visit our office for an ALL CARD so that we can take your photo.

Your first ALL CARD is included in your tuition and fees, and should last throughout your time at NKU, even if you skip semesters. If your ALL CARD is lost, stolen or damaged, a replacement ALL CARD can be obtained for $10. An ALL CARD that does not work due to normal wear will be replaced for free if you bring it to our office.

By adding money to your ALL CARD Dollar account, you can enjoy convenience and savings at:

• campus dining locations (6% discount)
• copiers (50% discount).

You can also use this account to make purchases at:

• vending machines
• NKU Bookstore
• Student Union game room
• Norse Tech Bar
• computer lab printing
• NKU Parking Office for permits and fines
• Health Services
• Steely Library for fines
• Campus Recreation Center (CRC).

You don't have to worry about carrying cash. It's a great way for cardholders to supplement their meal plans, as well as taking advantage of campus discounts.

Your ALL CARD Dollar account allows you the convenience and savings of making purchases on campus without having to carry cash.

You can add money to your NKU ALL CARD:

• Online at the ALL CARD Atrium Connect website: credit/debit card ($10 minimum)
• In the ALL CARD office, Student Union, room 120: cash/check (no minimum), credit/debit card ($10 minimum)
• By mail: check & money order (no minimum)
• For faculty/staff: Human Resources payroll deduction (print and submit form to HR).

The amount in your ALL CARD Dollar account is reduced with each purchase that you make.

Good news! Unspent ALL CARD Dollars carry forward to the next semester, and remain on your account until your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months. Please see General Policies for specifics.  

Balance and transaction history of ALL CARD dollars and meal plans may be viewed on the Atrium Connect website or you may stop in the ALL CARD office and we will print it out for you. All requests for histories made at the ALL CARD office must be made in person or in writing by the individual named on the account. ALL CARD dollar balances can also be checked at most places where you make purchases such as vending machines and copiers.

No sign-up is necessary - just log-in. Everyone with an ALL CARD automatically has a Atrium Connect account. Atrium Connect utilizes NKU's single sign-on application, so the username and password that you use for Webmail, Canvas, and myNKU are the same for Atrium Connect.

Points are the same as ALL CARD Dollars. The terms are used interchangeably. $1 = 1 Point or 1 ALL CARD Dollar.

Residential students can sign up for and make changes to their meal plans by contacting the NKU University Housing Office in Norse Commons. Changes must be made within the first two weeks of each semester, so make sure you know which plan you are on, and how to use it.

The NKU Dining Services website has details about the commuter/faculty/staff meal plans. You can purchase a commuter/faculty/staff meal plan by using your credit card on their website.

Yes! Meal plans can only be used at campus dining locations, but ALL CARD Dollars can be used by all cardholders at:

• NKU Parking Office permits and fines

ALL CARD Dollars are an excellent way to supplement a meal plan, and for all cardholders to enjoy discounts and convenience on campus.

Once you have purchased a residential meal plan through the University Housing office, or a commuter meal plan on the Dining Services website, simply present your NKU ALL CARD at the authorized location(s). Your ALL CARD will be swiped, and a meal or flex dollars will deducted.

Your ISO number is the same as your NKU ALL CARD number. It is a 16-digit number that is assigned when your ALL CARD is made.

You can change your NKU email/network account password on the password management page. You may need the last eight digits of your current ISO number and the last four digits of your social security number to change the password. If you have never been issued an ALL CARD, you will need your username (issued to you by the Admissions Office) and the last four digits of your social security number to set or change the password. Additional assistance is available from Information Technology.

Just stop by the ALL CARD office or send us an email. For an email request, send your full name and the last four digits of your social security number from an email address you have access to. We will return your ISO number to the email address you send the request from.

Your Student ID number is nine digits long and is different than your ISO number. Both numbers are printed on the newer ALL CARDS. Another way to find your Student ID number is to log into myNKU, then click on your Tuition Statement. Your Student ID number will be at the top of the page next to your name.

If your ALL CARD is lost, notify the ALL CARD office immediately and a "hold" will be placed on your ALL CARD dollar account and meal plan so that no one else can use it. 

Stop in the ALL CARD office so that we can check your card. If your ALL CARD stops working due to normal wear, we will replace it at no cost. If it has been deliberately damaged (hole punched, etc.), there is a $10 replacement fee. If we issue a replacement ALL CARD with a new ISO number, you will need to notify the University Housing office or university department that your ISO number has changed for door access. If you are trying to use an old ALL CARD that has been replaced, it cannot be reactivated.
