Health Innovation Center (HE), NKU’s newest academic building, is a five story, LEED-Silver certified, academic facility located on the west side of the Central Plaza.

 

Connected on all floors to Founders Hall and home to the Institute for Health Innovation and the College of Health and Human Services, it has state-of-the art technology and learning centers, including the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Simulation Center, labs, clinical and nursing skill suites, imaging suites, collaborative study rooms, popular student gathering spaces, and Au Bon Pain. Students develop their professional skills in a progressive learning environment which promotes hands-on, collaborative inter-professional and inter-disciplinary education.Highlights of the building’s unique design include large glass enclosed social stairs and commons and a five-story atrium space topped by a skylight. Students enjoy spending time in this light-filled building.
