The Lucas Administrative Center has eight floors and is constructed of poured and precast concrete and dark glass. It houses the university's executive offices and most university administrative offices, including registrar, admissions, bursar, and student financial assistance offices. A unique feature of the building is a large clock located on three sides of the north stair tower.
In 1994, the Administrative Center was named in honor of Regent Emeritus Kenneth R. Lucas, whose years of dedicated service as a founding regent (1968-1991), benefactor, and community leader have greatly contributed to NKU's development as a dynamic institution of higher education. His vision and commitment have fostered educational opportunities for the citizens of the Commonwealth and beyond.
