“When I started at NKU, I was overwhelmed with school because I didn’t know if I could afford all of my materials I needed for class. I decided to go to UCAP because I heard it could help low-income students like me. They helped me so much with textbooks and scholarships. I have an on-campus job, but it makes it so much easier to focus and not have two or three jobs just to get my school supplies. UCAP gave me a foot in the door and I want to thank donors so much for their gifts. It’s so awesome that donors are willing to give back to students like me!” – Aicha Mouhamed ’24, International Business Major
