Latino Student Initiatives was established in the Spring of 2001 as the Office of Latino Programs & Services. Latino Student Initiatives serves the student first by providing a space that validates, enriches, and develops the experiences of Latinx students at NKU through the sense of familia, support, and meaningful engagement.
LAMP is designed to provide Latino students at NKU with a support system comprised of fellow students, faculty, staff, and employees of local organizations.

The NKU chapter of LULAC advances the economic condition, educational opportunities, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population.
