  • LAMP Students

    LAMP

    The Latinos Avanzando Mentorship Program (LAMP) was created to promote and enhance the retention and academic success of incoming freshmen and transfer students at NKU and to build leadership skills among upperclassmen. It is designed to provide Latino students at NKU with a support system comprised of fellow students, faculty, staff, and employees of local organizations with the purpose of improving retention, encouraging career exploration, and providing exposure to local businesses. The ultimate goal of LAMP is to help students achieve academic and social success at Northern Kentucky University and beyond.


  • Latino Student Organization

    Latino Student Organization

    Latino Student Organization was created to build a sense of community among Latino and non-Latino students at NKU by establishing an organization where Hispanic, Latino American and non-Latino students can share common views on political, economic, social and cultural issues.


  • Alpha Psi Lambda

    Alpha Psi Lambda

    Alpha Psi Lambda is a co-ed group focused on Latino Students and is a part of the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations.


  • League of United Latin American Citizens

    League of United Latin American Citizens

    The NKU chapter of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) supports the organization's mission to advance the economic condition, educational opportunities, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population.


  • English Language Learners

    English Language Learners

    program is to provide opportunities to English language learners who have a desire to continue their higher education at an accredited area colleges and universities. The goal is to provide scholarships worth $500 - $1,000 each to deserving students for the academic year.
