We are seeking talented and ambitious leaders to join us in our efforts to reduce interpersonal violence in our community. The Peer Ambassador program is NVP's student outreach and education program. Peer Ambassadors provide campus outreach to promote NVP's advocacy services and facilitate educational workshops on bystander intervention and consent.

What are the benefits?

Peer Ambassadors have a unique opportunity to make an impact in preventing interpersonal violence at NKU while connecting with a team of peers, building leadership skills, and building their resumes.

Ambassadors receive training on the following topics:

  • Dynamics of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking
  • Supporting survivors of interpersonal violence
  • Self-care and stress management
  • Reporting options and resources
  • Inclusive prevention strategies
  • Bystander intervention
  • Facilitation skills

Apply to be a Peer Ambassador!

The application period for the each academic year opens in spring of the previous year. Please check NVP's CampusGroups page and social media sites for updates and information regarding the application process.
