Students

  • Co-host a prevention event with NVP and your student organization.
  • Wear an It's On Us button.
  • Post a bystander story on social media.
  • Attend NVP events and invite your friends.
  • Talk to your friends about their role as bystanders.
  • Invite NVP to present a workshop to your student group or class.
  • Become an NVP ambassador or peer educator!

Faculty and Staff

  • Invite NVP to present a workshop in your class.
  • Include a statement on violence prevention and resources in your syllabus (Contact NVP for example statements).
  • Provide extra credit for student attendance at NVP events.
  • Create an assignment incorporating violence prevention (again, reach out to NVP for ideas!).
  • Display NVP prevention materials in your office.
  • Have NVP brochures available for students.
  • Work with NVP to create internships or opportunities for students to earn credit by being leaders of prevention on campus.
