are you interested in becoming a young scholar?

The Young Scholars Academy community at Northern Kentucky University is made up of a wide range of students from across the region who are passionate, self-motivated, and eager to grow.

YSA is dedicated to increasing access to postsecondary education, as well as providing the tools, resources, and support necessary to achieve success. Over 50% of our scholars are the first person in their family to attend college, and over half of our scholars qualify for free or reduced lunch at their high school.

During YSA, scholars explore their interests, identify passions, and develop skillsets that propel them toward their future. Each scholar recieves individualized support based on their needs and goals.

If this sounds like a good fit for you and you would like the chance to earn around 60 college credits while you finish your high school diploma, we encourage you to check your eligibility and consider applying!
