NKU recognizes the importance of breastfeeding for families and the community. The university also acknowledges the need to support mothers in order to sustain the breastfeeding relationship when they return to work or study. As such, the university has taken measures to ensure faculty, staff, students, and guests have access to designated space conducive for breastfeeding or expressing milk.

The Lactation Rooms are located in FH 362, MEP 434, LA 562, and BC 217. The spaces are private furnished with seating, side table, and a changing table. Please note that lactating moms will need to supply their own equipment for expressing milk and will need to make arrangements to store equipment and expressed milk outside of the room.

  • Founders Hall 362: Available all day, 7 days a week. Please keep the door locked while in use.
