Have you already received your student visa? Do you have your flight booked to CVG? We will be sending incoming students a form to provide details about their arrival to NKU. As soon as you know your arrival details, please check your inbox for the form to fill out.  We are excited to welcome you to campus!

International Student and Scholar Services looks forward to your arrival at Northern Kentucky University.  Because we care about you and your well-being while in the United States, our goal is to get you acclimated to campus and to the resources available to you as a student at NKU.

During the week before classes, you will complete the following:

  • Get your university ID card
  • Learn about NKU and the resources available to all students
  • Get to know more about your immigration responsibilities as F-1 and J-1 visa holders
  • Register for classes
  • Meet your peers from around the U.S. and the world
  • Get acclimated to U.S. cultural values and practices
  • Meet our friendly and helpful staff, who are happy to assist you during your transition to NKU

Please contact isss@nku.edu if you have any questions about International Student Orientation.
