Spring 2026 International Student Orientation

The International Student Arrival window is January 7 and January 8 before Internatonal Orientation on January 9. New students living on campus and arriving outside of this window are responsible for their own transportation from the airport.

Have you already received your student visa? Do you have your flight booked to CVG? We will be sending incoming students a form to provide details about their arrival to NKU. As soon as you know your arrival details, please check your inbox for the form to fill out. We are excited to welcome you to campus!

During the week before classes, you will complete the following:

Get your university ID card
Learn about NKU and the resources available to all students
Get to know more about your immigration responsibilities as F-1 and J-1 visa holders
Register for classes
Meet your peers from around the U.S. and the world
Get acclimated to U.S. cultural values and practices
Meet our friendly and helpful staff, who are happy to assist you during your transition to NKU
