Our mission is to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making at Northern Kentucky University through effective planning; accurate, timely, and relevant reporting; and high-quality assessment.

Publicly Available Data

 


 

PIR Interactive Reports provide enrollment, retention, graduation, and degree data within Tableau generated reports. Some filtering can be applied.


 

The Kentucky Center for Statistics (KYStats) provides reports on Kentucky postsecondary institutions and data on education as a whole within the state.


 

The NKU Strategic Plan metrics are used to track the progress of the university’s current strategic plan, Success by Design.


 

The Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) provides an Interactive Data Center that measures progress of public and independent institutions on statewide metrics.

The PIR Data Center App is a collection of PowerBI dashboards ranging from enrollment to degree data. More advanced filtering and visual options are available.


 

The Management Dashboards tool allows for custom-built reports using a wide range of advanced filters. 

 


 

The retention and graduation reports provide tables on undergraduate, graduate, and transfer student cohorts.


 

PIR Trainings are self-paced and provide instruction on many of our tools such as PowerBI dashboards, Management Dashboards, and Weave. To obtain access to a course, submit a PIR Request.
