Heather Ashworth, Sr. Business Analyst

I started at NKU as a Business Analyst in 2016 and moved into the Sr. Business Analyst role in 2020.  In this role, I use Excel, SQL, PowerBI and SAP BW on a daily basis to create actionable reports and dashboards for end users and automate repetitive requests to create time-saving efficiencies.

Prior to my work at NKU, I worked in study abroad at three different universities (University of Cincinnati, University of South Florida, and Empire State College).  I managed reporting for the offices, and led the integration, setup and maintenance of the Terra Dotta Software for Study Abroad, an application database management system.

I hold a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from the University of Cincinnati, an MBA in International Business, and a B.S. in Business Management from Wright State University.

Danielle Hoffman, Business Analyst I

I started remotely at NKU in 2020 as a Business Analyst I. In this role, I work with SAP BW, Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate to develop, update and maintain visualizations and reports that enable informed, data-driven decision making across the university.

Prior to my work at NKU, I worked for a collective impact organization (StrivePartnership) and Cincinnati Public Schools. In this joint position, I gathered, analyzed, visualized and reported data, which was used to guide efforts and examine the ways in which collective strategies were having an impact on educational outcomes.

I am an alumnus of NKU with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Mathematics Education and I hold a Master of Applied Statistics from The Ohio State University.
