ECM is the process through which designated supervisors enter merit increases when available, and review/confirm base salary information for their eligible employees. The ECM process takes place during a designated window of time in the spring. ECM is accessed via the "Planning" link from the Manager Self-Service (MSS) tab in myNKU, and once entered, a supervisor’s compensation plan is sent forward electronically for higher-level approval. Staff with work schedules of less than 12 months per year, temporary faculty and staff, and grant-funded faculty and staff are not eligible for participation in the ECM process, and appropriate PARs or faculty appointment forms must be processed if these employees will be continued in the new fiscal year.

Security: Granted to those supervisors designated by Human Resources and Academic Affairs as responsible for compensation planning; must be granted before attending the ECM workshop.

Training: Attend myNKU - Enterprise Compensation Mangement workshop (see dates and register, if available).  Note: Usually these workshops are organized by college or division so that supervisors are able to bring their planning information along and complete it in myNKU during the session.
