Interim President, Northern Kentucky University

Subject: Holiday Schedule

Dear colleagues,

In recognition of all the hard work and successes the entire campus community has achieved over the past year, we are pleased to announce some additional days off for NKU’s faculty and staff to spend with loved ones and friends during the upcoming holiday season.

We will extend the Thanksgiving holiday by one day, closing NKU on Wednesday, November 22, in addition to Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25.

Winter break for employees will begin Wednesday, December 20, and extend through Monday, January 1. This will add three additional days to the beginning of the break. Faculty and staff will return to work on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

As we spend this final week preparing for the start of our presidential transition on Monday, we hope this will allow you to enjoy more much-deserved time to relax and recharge after what has been a tough yet successful year.

Thank you again for all you do each day for NKU, our learners and the region.

Sincerely,

Bonita J. Brown, J.D.
