Allergy Injection Information

Patient receiving an injection

Allergy injections can be administered to students, faulty or staff who are under the care of an allergist. Prior to starting to receive allergy injections at the St. Elizabeth Physicians NKU Health Clinic (SHC), the recipient will need to schedule an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner for a review of history, allergy paperwork and a brief exam.

Allergy injection recipients MUST wait 30 minutes in the SHC after getting an injection.

Allergy injection recipients MUST present their EpiPen (if required by their allergist) at the time of service.

Allergy injections are not done after 3:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
